Barbados will remain under a flood watch, until noon today, as a tropical wave continues to affect the island.
Met officials say the island will experience generally cloudy to overcast conditions, with some moderate to heavy showers, periods of rain and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms.
The winds are coming from the east north east at 15 to 40 kilometres per hour "with higher gusts near showers".
The seas are moderate in open water with swells from 1.5 metres to 2.5 metres.
Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
