MUMBAI: Former India cricket captain Ajit Wadekar passed away here on Wednesday after a prolonged illness. He was 77. Indian cricket heroes on Thursday paid tribute to Wadekar. BCCI CEO Rahul Johri said: “He will always be remembered as the Renaissance Man of Indian cricket.” The Indian cricket team observed a two-minute silence in remembrance of the former skipper.
