Police raids conducted across India, anti-Modi plotters arrested

NEW DELHI: Activists with alleged Maoist links were picked up in several raids across the country on Tuesday. Maoist ideologue Varavara Rao was seized in Hyderabad for his alleged involvement in a plot to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Raids were conducted at Delhi, Mumbai, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Faridabad and Thane on Tuesday. The arrests followed a Pune police probe into the alleged Maoist involvement in the Elgaar
