Police are reporting that there are a number of stolen cheques in circulation drawn on the account of First Class Car Rentals & Taxi Srvs, No 285, 10th Avenue, West Terrace, St James.
The affected serial numbers run from 00737 to 00750. The cheques were stolen from the aforementioned business.
Businesses and members of the public are therefore advised against accepting such cheques as they are now considered worthless.
Should anyone come across any of these cheques they are asked to contact the the Fraud Department at telephone numbers 430-7196/ 7195/ 7194, police emergency 211 or any police station. (PR)
