The RBPF appoints three new Assistant Commissioners of Police

For the first time ever a woman has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police in Barbados.
Acting Commissioner of Police Lila Strickland today received her letters of appointment from Commissioner of Police Tyrone Griffith at a short ceremony at Police Headquarters.

Commandment of the Regional Police Training Centre Sylvester Louis and Senior Superintendent of Police Eucklyn Thompson were also promoted as Assistant Commissioners of Police.

The appointments take effect from September 1.
