It's feared more than 200 people have drowned after a ferry capsized in Lake Victoria, Tanzania
AT LEAST 94 people are confirmed to have died after a ferry carrying hundreds of passengers capsized on Lake Victoria, Tanzania.
The MV Nyerere ferry overturned near the shore of Ukara island on its way from Bugorora and
it is thought the overloaded vessel tipped over when crowds on board moved to one side as it docked, BBC AfricaM reports.
According to officials, it is feared that more than 200 people may have drowned.
