The showcase of materials at the Charles H Wright Museum will give visitors in insight into the Queen of Soul's private and public life
ARETHA FRANKLIN will be honoured with a new exhibition, it has been announced.
Think: A Tribute to the Queen of Soul will open at the Charles H Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit.
The museum is the same venue that hosted Franklin's public viewings before prior to her televised funeral.
The soul singer died from pancreatic cancer last month. She was 76 years old.
Think: A Tribute to the Queen of Soul is set to run for four months. A more long term exhibition is being put together for 2020.
