The three individuals were wrongly deported to the Caribbean from the UK
THE FAMILIES of three Windrush citizens who were wrongly removed from the UK and have since died are to receive an apology from the home secretary.
The UK government had sought Jamaica’s help in finding 13 people who they identified as having been removed from the UK in error.
Kamina Johnson-Smith, Jamaica’s foreign minister, has since revealed that three individuals on the list were deceased.
The relatives of the three individuals will receive a personal apology from the government in the form of a letter from Javid.
