Washington: Scientists have developed a novel wearable device that could generate energy from the swing of an arm while walking or jogging. Sydney: Australia has minted a gold coin encrusted with rare pink diamonds worth 2.48 million Australian dollars (USD 1.8 million) to meet the growing demand for high-end collectibles from the ultra-rich. The 2-kg treasure, which depicts a sailing ship, a gold prospector and boab trees found in Western Australia, is considered legal tender and will be sold to the highest bidder. Activist to donate $1m for Rohingya welfare
Washington: Aurora Prize laureate Kyaw Hla Aung, also a noted lawyer, who has spent 40 years fighting for Rohingya rights in Myanmar, will donate $1 million he received as prize money to provide medical aid and assistance to around 3,75,000 Rohingya refugees staying across South East Asia. PTI
