Palace boss happy with display despite dropped points

'It was a frustrating afternoon because we created enough chances' says Roy Hodgson

CRYSTAL PALACE manager Roy Hodgson was happy with his team’s performance despite their goalless draw against Newcastle United at home (Sep 22). The Eagles are yet to win at home this season while the Toon Army are still looking for their first win of the season.

Hodgson said: “It was a frustrating afternoon because we created enough chances. We were solid at the back. I am not disappointed because I think we were good from start to finish but we came across an organised Newcastle team. When those chances came our way we missed one or two.”
