Two Barbadian men found murdered in Jamaica

Jamaican police are continuing investigations into the murder of two Barbadian men in the eastern parish of St Thomas.

Lawmen discovered the bodies of Dario Yearwood and Daniel Griffith in a bushy area in the community of Woodbourne.

According to RJR NEWS, the men reportedly arrived in Jamaica on Wednesday close to midday and should have checked in at a Kingston hotel, but never did.

Jamaican detectives who went to the murder scene recovered an identification card belonging to the men and further checks with immigration authorities yesterday revealed that the men were Barbadian nationals.

RJR News reported that a resident who had gone to tend to his cattle stumbled upon the bodies in the bushes.

One of the bodies had gunshot wounds to the head and the side, while the other victim had a bullet wound to the upper body.

Residents told police that they had heard gunfire in the area on Wednesday just after 1 p.m.
