Sometime Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., someone forced their way into a residence on Campus Parkway.
Stolen was custom jewelry and other personal items, Chatham-Kent police said.

Man charged with theft
On Thursday afternoon, police responded to a shoplifting complaint at the LCBO on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
A 20-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000. He was released with a court date.
Traffic enforcement
Officers conducted speed enforcement Thursday on Longwoods Road near Louisville.
A total of three speeding tickets were issued in a 30-minute span. Officers are reminding drivers to slow down.
NHL Alumni Game
On Friday, Oct. 26 at Memorial Arena, the CKPS Knight Sticks play in a charity hockey game against the NHL Alumni. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
All proceeds will be going directly to the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.

Safe treating in the village
The Chatham-Kent Children’s Safety Village will host a trick or treating event on Saturday, Oct. 27 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Kids are encouraged to come in costume, ride CN’s Lil Obie train and enjoy family-friendly activities.
Tickets are $10 per family at the door. A charity barbecue will also be available.
