CLINTON URGES TOURISM BOOST
Former US President Bill Clinton has said that the Caribbean tourism industry is more important than ever since 2017’s hurricane damage.
Pointing out to tourism officials that the industry provided 15 per cent of the region’s GDP, he said: “After last year’s pair of severe hurricanes, it’s even more important to ensure that this industry is strengthened.”
