Hundreds gathered to celebrate the island's culture and cuisine last weekend
THE VERY best of Barbados was on show last weekend as hundreds descended on Oakington Manor in Wembley for the London edition of Q in the Community.
The event is one of the highlights of the Barbados social calendar and proved to be as popular in north London on Saturday September 29.
Broadcasting live to Barbados from 5.30pm to 10pm, there were two rooms for dancing and enjoying Bajan cuisine, which included chicken, pork, rice ‘n’ peas, pudding, fish fritters, pudding and souse and of course macaroni pie.
