A 31-year-old painter will be assessed at the Psychiatric Hospital over the next three weeks for consideration for Verdun House.
Jerome Rudder, of Manning Land, Bank Hall, St Michael pleaded guilty before Magistrate Graveney Bannister today to stealing a bottle of Vodka worth $107 belonging to Cave Shepherd and Company Limited on October 18.
He was sent to the Black Rock institution until November 14 after telling the magistrate that he had a cocaine habit.
