Motorists are being advised to be careful as they traverse the Two Mile Hill, St Michael area due to a leaning utility pole in the area.
The Barbados Light & Power Company (BL&P) said it was aware of the situation and a team would be in the area to replace the pole this evening.

Manager of Communications and Government Relations Jackie Marshall-Clarke told Barbados TODAY that road works in the area, coupled with continuous rainfall over the past two days, might have compromised the pole, causing it to lean.
“We believe it was caused by road works in the area which might have undermined the utility pole, and then with the heavy rains over the last two days, so what happen is that the pole is now leaning. We are aware and we need to rectify it immediately so the contractors will be on the job in a short time to replant the pole,” she said late this evening.
Marshall-Clarke said while it was in no way inhibiting pedestrian or vehicular traffic, road users should exercise caution as they entered the area.
She said should there be any power outage in the area it would only be for a short time.
