Man shot multiple times in Brittons Hill

Police are investigating a shooting which occurred in Britttons Hill, St Michael on Friday night.

Around 10:15 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at London Road in the area.

Police said Leon Lawrence of Canevale Crescent, Christ Church and Brittons Street and others were at a shop in the area of Liverpool Road and London Road when they were attacked by several men, all armed with guns.

Lawrence was shot multiple times and was taken to the QEH by private vehicle. Police said he is in serious but stable condition.

Police said that a motor vehicle was also damaged by gunshots and is now in their possession for forensic examination.
