Twenty-six-year-old Jemel Roberson, a security guard, was holding a suspect on the ground when he was fatally shot, witnesses say
A 26-YEAR-OLD security guard has been fatally shot by a police officer as he was restraining an armed suspect on the floor after a shooting in a nightclub, according to reports.
It is understood that Jemel Roberson, who was employed at Manny’s Blue Room Bar in Chicago, had thrown a group of men out of the venue before one of them returned with a gun and fired shots in the club.
Roberson, who legally owned a firearm, returned fire and then caught one of the suspects, according to witnesses.
