A spokesperson for the mogul confirmed that Lee died on Thanksgiving
OPRAH WINFREY’S mother has died at the age of 83.
A spokeswoman for Winfrey issued a statement on Monday saying Lee died at her Milwaukee home on November 22 on Thanksgiving.
The spokeswoman says private funeral services were held.
The mogul took to Instagram to post an image of herself and her mother Vernita Lee at a family gathering.
