The two-time Grammy award winner has died aged 49
FRIENDS AND fans of jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove have paid tribute to him and shared their love of his music after he died on Friday aged 49.
Hargrove suffered a fatal cardiac arrest in New York.
The two-time Grammy award-winning musician successful career included collaborations with artists such as with D’Angelo, Erykah Badu and Common.
Questlove, who worked closely with Hargrove, said: “The Great Roy Hargrove. He is literally the one man horn section I hear in my head when I think about music.
