UPDATE: Shooting in Eden Lodge, St Michael: police

A 22-year-old man was shot in Eden Lodge, St Michael on Saturday, police say.

Lance Thomas, of Sorrel Lane in Eden Lodge, was shot in his left calf around 6 p.m.

Reports are that Thomas and a group of men were liming between Blocks 7 and 8 when two men wearing masks walked up to them and opened fire.

Thomas was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
