USGS records earthquake off St Philip

An earthquake occurred off the coast of Barbados this morning, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

USGS said the magnitude 6.3 quake occurred at 9:04 a.m. (local time).

It was located at Latitude: 15.56N, Longitude: 49.86W and at a depth of 7.3 km.

The quake occurred at 1068 km (663.3 miles) WSW of Crane, Saint Philip and 1086 km (674.9 miles) WSW of Bridgetown.
