A JAMAICAN woman who has lived in the UK since she was a child is facing deportation after she lost her latest immigration battle.
Shankea Stewart came to the UK when she was 12 years old to live with her father but her British citizenship was never obtained.
As a result of her immigration troubles, which meant she did not have her application to stay in the UK approved, she was unable to attend her mother’s funeral in the Caribbean last year.
