Accused told to keep his distance

A St Philip man was ordered to keep away from two people who he allegedly assaulted.

Mark Wayne Boyce, 52, of Mahoe Circle, Ruby, St Philip, was granted bail in the sum of $4000 and given those directives by Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant after he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today.

Boyce, however, pleaded not guilty to unlawfully damaging a motor car belonging to Gena Boyce on December 4, 2018.

He also denied unlawfully assaulting Boyce as well as Dwayne Fletcher on the same date.

There was no objection (by the prosecution) to bail and Cuffy-Sargeant released him on bail and told him to stay away from both Boyce and Fletcher, as well as their property.

He is scheduled to reappear in court on May 8, 2019.
