Brawlers must keep peace

Four siblings were among five people who were put on a bond to keep the peace for the next year after they got involved in a brawl.

Camille Shareece Roach, 22; 20-year-old Camesa Shadia Roach; Chae Stefan Roach, 19, and their 15-year-old sister who reside at St Stephen’s Hill, Black Rock, St Michael, along with 25-year-old Kanisha Michelle Latoya Hinkson of Ellerslie Gap, St Stephen’s Hill, were put on the bond by Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant when they appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.

All five young people who were charged with assaulting each other, chose to drop the related matters.

Camille, Camesa and Chae had been charged with assaulting Andre Mayers occasioning him actual bodily harm on December 5, while Camille and Chae were jointly charged with assaulting Hinkson on December 4.

Hinkson was charged with unlawfully assaulting Camesa on December 4, as well as unlawfully and maliciously wounding Camille on the same date.

The 15-year-old schoolgirl was charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding Hinkson.

The magistrate placed them on the bond to keep the peace for 12 months. If breached they will have to pay $1500 forthwith or spend three months in prison.
