Dalton Harris forced to leave the UK as visa expires

The 24-year-old The Power of Love singer, who won the competition on Sunday (Dec 2), said his visa only allowed him to stay in the UK for the duration of the show

X FACTOR winner Dalton Harris will be forced to leave the UK as his visa is set to expire.

Speaking to The Sun, the 24-year-old Jamaica-born singer, who won the competition on Sunday (Dec 2), said his visa only allowed him to stay in the UK for the duration of the show.

“I need to get a new visa. I will have to leave the UK for a bit as you’re not allowed to just stay forever,” he said.

“Hopefully my visa will be sorted out quickly. I had a visa that allowed me to compete in the show, so I’d be surprised if the Government didn’t give me one now I have won.”
