Jamaican international Romario Williams wins MLS Cup medal

The striker has only played three MLS games for Atlanta since joining last season

ROMARIO WILLIAMS, the rarely used striker for Jamaica, won a MLS Cup medal for US side Atlanta United on Sunday December 9.

The 24-year-old from Portmore was not in the squad for the final against Portland Timbers, who had fellow Reggae Boyz international Alvas Powell feature as an 82nd-minute substitute.

Josef Martinez and Franco Escobar were on target at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium at Atlanta, Georgia. The result gave manager Tato Martino a 2-0 send-off in his final game in charge before he takes over as Mexico head coach.
