The tennis star's lifestyle brand continues to flourish
BEING IN business has helped Venus Williams to appreciate her endeavours on the tennis court.
The 38-year-old, has 49 WTA titles and is a seven-time Grand Slam singles winner. But having started lifestyle brand EleVen in 2007, she recently admitted that her proclivity for entrepreneurship had more benefits than she saw coming.
“It helped me appreciate [my tennis] because it doesn’t matter what business you start, you start at the bottom and at tennis at least I’m at the top and I can hopefully stay here,” she told Sport360.
