Josiah Sharpe's mum says he told her he wished he wasn't black after he was punished over his hairstyle
A FIVE-YEAR-OLD boy was banned from the enjoying his break-time with other children in the playground over his haircut.
Josiah Sharpe, who attends Summerhill Primary Academy in Tipton, was punished by teachers after he turned up at school with the back and sides of his head shaved.
His mother, Danica, has argued that the style helps disguise his traction alopecia but the school’s executive headteacher, Kerry Rochester, said the style doesn’t adhere to the school’s policy, Birmingham Live reported.
