Mark Sampson apologises to Eni Aluko and Drew Spence

The former Bristol Academy manager admitted that he handled the claims poorly

FORMER ENGLAND Women's manager Mark Sampson has apologised to Eni Aluko and Drew Spence after admitting he failed to properly handle their claims of racism and bullying.

Sampson was sacked by the Football Association in 2017 following a safeguarding investigation during his time as manager at Bristol Academy. He was investigated to due his alleged "inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour" at a time where he was embroiled in a six month relationship with a player aged over 18.
