Chatham-Kent police are investigating after a pedestrian was killed in a collision Monday evening.
At 6:18 p.m., emergency crews were called to St. Clair Street, in the area of Crerar Drive, in Chatham, for the crash involving a single motor vehicle and a male pedestrian.
The male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance where he later succumbed to his injuries, police said.
There was no further information released at this time concerning the deceased, including his age and place of residence.
