Terry Crews calls out DL Hughley for remarks on assault

In an interview last year, the comedian said of the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star: “God gave you muscles so you could say no”

TERRY CREWS has called out comedian DL Hughley for his comments on the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star’s sexual assault accusation.

Crews has alleged that he was sexually assaulted by Adam Venit, the former WME agent. Venit, who has apologised to Crews, reached a settlement with him last year.

Venit also resigned from his position at the entertainment agency.

In an interview conducted last year, Hughley made reference to Crews’ accusations when he said: "I think that now everybody's so into this notion that, 'It happened to me too.'"
