Adams becomes 1st female boxer to fight at Royal Albert Hall

Nicola Adams will take on WBO world flyweight champion Arely Mucino in March

NICOLA ADAMS will make history this year, as she becomes the first female boxer ever to fight in the Royal Albert Hall.

This will also be the first world title fight for Adams as she challenges WBO world flyweight champion Arely Mucino on March 8.

Adams, who became the first woman Olympic champion when she won the first of her two golds at the London Games, said: “I love making history and it will be an honour for me to follow in the footsteps of so many great boxers who have fought here.”
