LAKESHORE – The Lakeshore Canadiens beat the Dresden Kings 4-3 in Game 3 of their Stobbs Division semifinal Friday in the Provincial Junior Hockey League.
The Canadiens lead 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.
Game 4 is Sunday at the Ken Houston Memorial Agricultural Centre in Dresden. The game time has been changed to 7:30 p.m.
The Canadiens outshot the Kings 49-22 in Game 3.
Kings goalie Brett Brochu made 45 saves, while Erik Morneau made 19 in the other net.
Greg Hay and Elijah Duquette of the Kings scored in the first period for a 2-1 lead at the intermission. Nathan Skulley had the Canadiens’ goal.
Blake Blain, on a power play, and Skulley scored in the second to put the Canadiens ahead 3-2. Geoffry VandenBoorn of the Kings scored a tying goal at 10:14.
Brendan Soto scored the winning goal in the third period at 11:12 on a power play.
