FORMER LABOUR MP Fiona Onasanya has been released from prison after serving a month of her three month sentence for perverting the course of justice.
The MP for Peterborough left HMP Bronzefield in Ashford, Surrey, this morning.
She was convicted for lying about who was driving her car to avoid a speeding ticket. Her car was caught driving 41mph in a 30mph zone in July last year.
The 35-year-old, who has been expelled from the Labour party, has faced calls to resign from her role as an MP.
