The Bank Account rapper is currently being detained by immigration officials in the US
JAY-Z has appointed his lawyer to help 21 Savage resolve his immigration battle and described his detention as an “absolute travesty”.
The 26-year-old rapper was detained by immigration enforcement officers for reportedly living in the US under an expired visa.
In a statement on his Facebook page, JAY-Z wrote: “The arrest and detention of 21 Savage is an absolute travesty, his U Visa petition has been pending for four years. In addition to being a successful recording artist, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately, #Free21Savage.”
