A RYANAIR passenger who racially abused an elderly black woman onboard a plane in Barcelona, will face prosecution, it has been reported.
Proceedings have been launched against David Mesher in Spain, HuffPost UK has reported.
The 70-year-old was filmed spewing racist abuse at 77-year-old Delsie Gayle in October last year. During the tirade, Mesher called Gayle “an ugly black b*****d”.
Ada Colau, the mayor of Barcelona, told HuffPost UK that Spanish authorities will be taking action against Mesher in relation to the incident.
