RIGHTS FOR FREE MOVEMENT FAMILIES

ALL MEMBER states in CARICOM’s Single Market and Economy (CSME) group have now signed up to a protocol which gives rights to CARICOM nationals and their families under the free movement of skills programme.

CARICOM’s chairman, Prime Minister Timothy Harris of St Kitts and Nevis, said this means that nationals, their spouses and dependents will “benefit from additional rights such as primary education” when they move around most CSME states.
