FOOTBALL BODIES are failing black players, Yaya Touré has said.
The former Manchester City star has shared his thoughts on efforts to tackle racism in the sport as he received an award recognising his anti-racism campaign work from Fare (Football Against Racism in Europe).
The 35-year-old, who was a member of Fifa’s anti-racism taskforce until it was disbanded in 2016, believes that football as a whole is responsible for failing black players.
