Griffith sets up two more goals
Seth Griffith of Wallaceburg had two assists for the Manitoba Moose in a 4-1 win over the Grand Rapids Griffins in the American Hockey League on Friday in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Griffith leads the Moose with 39 assists and 55 points in 67 games.
The Moose will end the regular season with games Saturday and Sunday in Chicago.
Tinman Triathlon postponed
The annual Tinman Triathlon scheduled for May 16 has been cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
This would have been the 26th year for the event hosted by Wallaceburg District Secondary School.
It is scheduled to return May 14, 2020.
Nationals lead Cup semifinal 2-0
The London Nationals beat the Listowel Cyclones 3-2 in Game 2 of their Sutherland Cup semifinal Friday in Listowel.
The Nationals lead 2-0 in the best-of-seven series. Game 3 is Sunday in London.
The Waterloo Siskins beat the Niagara Falls Canucks 4-2 in Game 1 of the other semifinal Friday.

Registration continues for the 21st annual Paul Dudley Memorial 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament to be played Monday, April 22, at John McGregor Secondary School.
The entry fee is $80 per team. The boys’ and girls’ age divisions are under-10, -12, -14, -16 and -18.
Teams can have three or four players. Coed teams play in the boys’ divisions.
Proceeds go to the Paul Dudley Memorial Scholarship. Entry forms are available at schools and on the tournament’s Facebook page.
The registration deadline is Friday, April 19, at 11 a.m. Registration will also be held at JMSS on April 19 from 9-11 a.m. outside the Larry Lahey Athletic Centre.
