The actor has joined Faron Alex Paul on London’s streets as he collects knives as part of the Faz Amnesty
IDRIS ELBA has thrown his support behind a mobile knife amnesty project.
The actor took to the streets on Sunday alongside Faron Alex Paul, the man behind Faz Amnesty, which exchanges high street vouchers for blades and then hands the knives in to the police.
Elba said he thinks the scheme was important and outlined some of the reasons why the project was connecting with young people.
