Jennifer Hudson honours Aretha Franklin at Pulitzer ceremony

The Queen of Soul was awarded the posthumous Pulitzer Prize for “for her indelible contribution to American music and culture for more than five decades”

JENNIFER HUDSON paid tribute to Aretha Franklin to celebrate the late singer’s posthumous Pulitzer Prize on Tuesday (May 28)

The Academy-award winning actress took to the stage at the Low Memorial Library of Columbia University, New York to honour the Queen of Soul, giving a rousing performance of Amazing Grace.

Franklin received the prestigious awards, as judges celebrated the icon “for her indelible contribution to American music and culture for more than five decades.”
