Beijing, November 30
India and China should cooperate regionally and globally and must maintain multi-dimensional relationships for the realisation of an Asian century, top Indian and Chinese diplomats have agreed here as think tanks of the two countries deliberated on a range of issues to strengthen bilateral ties.
The officials met at the two-day 4th India-China Think Tanks Forum that concluded on Saturday with participants expressing unanimous view that both countries should cooperate closely on bilateral, regional and international issues.
The forum was established between the two countries during PM Narendra Modi’s visit to China in May 2015. It was jointly organised by the Indian Council of World Affairs and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
This year’s forum carried out discussions on various issues, including on developing strategies and experiences in India and China as well as on communication and mutual learning between two civilisations. — PTI
