Seaside soca

Hundreds of patrons gathered at Cin Cin By The Sea for the second installment of Revive Brunch BIM: Brunch & Pump.

Held on Grand Kadooment Day, the all-inclusive brunch party, held annually in Miami, New York and Barbados, kicked off in high spirits. The mouthwatering menu tantalized the taste buds of the patrons but it was truly the music and the ambiance that led to the fantastic experience patrons had.

With the Crop Over festival finally reaching its peak, patrons jammed from morning to a mixture of genres from soca to dance hall. The eclectic musical selections were compliments a line-up of deejays from Barbados, Trinidad and North America, including Riggo Suave, DJ Private Ryan, DJ Puffy, DJ Blank, the Roc Fresh duo of Mali Fresh and Scott Le Roc, DJ Bimshire, DJ Nunu and DJ Killa D.

Some of the hottest soca artistes for the season were also in the fray, with the likes of Mole De Chief performing hits such as Aye in the intimate setting.

Jus D had the audience, especially the ladies, pumped as he crooned Manager; Marzville was also present performing his popular tune, Sweetness while Jagwa De Champ  brought out the ‘bashy’ side of the crowd with songs like Face Down. Vincentian artiste Rimba was also there reminding those in attendance to mind their ‘funky business’.

One of the highlight performances of the day was Jamaican dance hall artiste Sheensea who performed her hottest singles such as Love I Got For You and Pon Mi.
