Kate Oates has plans to shake up the soap
THE NEW boss of Eastenders has said she wants to increase diversity on the show.
The soap has, in recent times, been criticised for its lack of LGBT characters and storylines, and for years fans and critics have pointed out how out of touch the demographic of its cast is with the real make up of the East End today.
