Africa on the Square festival to bring Black History Month to an exhilarating close in heart of London
LONDON IS getting ready for this year’s Africa on the Square, set to be a show-stopping festival of music, food and culture.
The celebration is set to return to Trafalgar Square and will also be a key part of the Mayor’s Black History Month celebrations.
The stage line-up, compered by Esther Alade and Usifu Jalloh, re ects the diversity of London’s African com- munities and will shine a spotlight on female artists as the mayor marks 100 years since some women gained the right to vote in Britain.
