Kier Cumming and Dede Cato each scored three goals in two weekend wins by the Blenheim Blades.
Cumming scored 22 seconds into overtime Sunday for a 4-3 win over the Wheatley Omstead Sharks in the Provincial Junior Hockey League’s Stobbs Division.
The Blades also beat the Amherstburg Admirals 4-1 on Saturday.
The Admirals edged the Lakeshore Canadiens 2-1 in overtime Sunday.
The Sharks lost to the Mooretown Flags 5-1 on Saturday.
Blades 4, Sharks 3 (OT)
At Blenheim, Cumming and Cato each potted two goals, Keegan MacVoy had three assists and Chris Dewulf made 26 saves for the Blades (6-8-2-0).
The Blades led 3-1 after two periods, but Alixe Saliba and Curtis Rodrigues of the Sharks scored 1:40 apart late in the third before 431 fans at Blenheim Memorial Arena.
Drew Denomey also scored for the Sharks (9-9-0-1).
Ten players – five per team – were tossed for a line brawl midway through the second period.
Sharks goalie Catalin Morin stopped 18 of 19 shots before his game misconduct. Tristan Edmondson gave up three goals on 20 shots.
Blades 4, Admirals 1
At Amherstburg, Cumming had one goal and two assists, and Dewulf made 45 saves.
Seth Henderson, Cato and Drew Marlatt also scored for the Blades.
Cory Burns scored for the Admirals and Jared Ratko stopped 15 of 18 shots.
Flags 5, Sharks 1
At Mooretown, Ernie Godden scored and Jackson Ford made 25 saves for the Sharks.
Kyle Smith and Brock Perry each had a goal and three assists for the Flags. Duncan Core, Blake Howard and Trevor Bogaert also scored.
Flags goalie Adam Mino made 26 saves.
Admirals 2, Canadiens 1 (OT)
At Amherstburg, Burns scored 6:57 into overtime.
Canadiens goalie Nolan Hakr of Chatham made 17 saves.
