The Elgin Middlesex OPP community street crimes unit has recovered a large amount of stolen property and hopes to find the owners.
The property is believed to have been stolen from homes and businesses in the area of Elgin, Middlesex and Kent counties, the OPP said in a Wednesday release.
Anyone who has been a victim of a break and enter or theft of property since December of last year is asked to contact:
- Det. Const. Adam Wilfong at 519-631-2920 or by email at adam.wilfong@opp.ca (Elgin and Kent County); or
- Det. Const. Emmett Murchland at 519-681-0300 or by email at emmett.murchland@opp.ca (Middlesex County).
Police remind everyone that you can remain anonymous when reporting crime by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or submitting an online tip at www.londoncrimestoppers.com, where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000. For crimes in progress call 911.
